Good Friday Walk 2018

This year’s Good Friday Walk took place at Rowley Park, Burnley.  We were blessed with better than expected weather and had a very pleasant stroll around the lake, along the river and through woodland.  The paths were suitable for all and certainly made a change from the usual muddy routes of recent years.  As can be seen in the photographs, the children made the most of the environment wading in the river, climbing in the trees, and enjoying the delights of handling frog spawn.  Waiting at the end of the stroll Jennifer was a very welcome sight with a table full of drinks and (cold) hot cross buns.
